X exploding on first enchant attempt

X exploded after the first enchanting attempt without any prior meddling (collected fresh from the mob)

Due to the below post about enchant weapon changes which states the modification from enchant weapon will only count against themselves, I had expected, and achieved with other weapons, the standard behaviour from utilizing these scrolls.
