Shouldn't the prism be magical?
Description
A strikingly beautiful woman rests nearby. She has an ageless quality that
has seemingly frozen her in her early twenties. She has long blonde hair
that falls in waves over a voluptuous form that any woman would be envious
of. She's clothed in the best imported fineries and seems well aware of
her position in the world. She is both feared and revered, but she has
given much to magic and its practice. She is a master of all magics, a
member of all guilds, both known and unknown to mortal man.

The prism isn't magic, it's more a structure made so well that light becomes particularly powerful going through it.
