Am I hallucinating, or does sip not have an echo to everyone else in the room? If that's by design then maybe I'll post or email some sipping-related socials.

A number of room-wide echoes are suppressed in the Inn, in order to keep the spam at a minimum during crowded events. Sipping is one. It echoes normally to the room other places.
