Syntax for gust of wind

Anyway this spell can be fixed to be allowed to do while blind? Currently it's "cast gust " but if you're blind you actually get 2 rounds of lag, loss of mana, and an error message. It'd be nice if it was "cast gust " so if the person isn't present or you're blind, it'll aim at who you're already fighting. Thanks!
