Missing echo?

When a shapeshifter dies from being unable to revert, there is no echo indicating that's what happened. This recently happened in the middle of combat... A tuft of a lion's fur is ripped from his dead body. Shifter's bones creak and snap as he shapeshifts. Shifter's shapeshifting DISMEMBERS him! And that was it. Not even a "is DEAD!!" message. I looked, and his corpse was on the ground.
