Discuss Guildmaster Bug

Helpfile states Note that evil guildmasters do not freely volunteer their time, and it is recommended that the discussion be preceded by an appropriate bribe of 10 silver coins or a treasure of equivalent value. I gave items before discussing worth far more than 10 silver - which is what helpfile states. I prayed, and an immortal said that the syntax was wrong, maybe, and that discuss guildmaster [wand] [item] should be used. I did that, and still no wand hint. I tried several times and in different ways with different items. Immortal suggested bugboard. At the very least, the helpfile should be updated to be more clear on how this should work. Problem is - cannot use silver.
