Ruined Keep quest

You give the diamond dagger named 'Light of Redemption' to a human sergeant. A human sergeant says 'What am I to do with this?' A human sergeant shrugs indifferently. Accidentally gave him the wrong dagger. The one I gave him wasn't returned, and wasn't on him when he died. Seems like one of those two would be more likely, rather than it just poofing.
