turning newbie channel off
Description
I assume that since we are allowed to turn off the newbie channel, that means we shouldn't be able to keep talking on it?
I keep getting my newbie and cb channels confused, but even if I turn off the newbie channel, my mistaken comments still keep going out on the newbie channel.
Any chance we can fix the newbie channel so idiots like me don't keep broadcasting on it when it is supposed to be off?

By design. All channels turn back on if you try to use them when they are off.

Additionally, and for extra OCD Points, you could add a new command called "channels" which, when used, will give a read out of your available channels and whether or not they are active. Potentially it could look like this:
<100%hp 100%m 100%mv> channels
<100%hp 100%m 100%mv>
Your current channel status is:

Or...you could just pay more attention to what channel you're trying to speak on. I think the way that exists is less annoying than what you propose.
What a great idea for a command that already exists...
