Log of door-trapping weirdness
Description
get orange charms
You step out of the shadows.
You get a bright orange mushroom from the Bracelet of Charms.
I don't know what kind of trap this is used for. I am guessing glowing from the description but I have no way to know for sure without trial and error
hide
You attempt to hide.
trap physical glowing orange door
That item is not here. Guessing this is referring to the "door", but it would be nice to eliminate the ambiguity
If you want to set a trap on a container you are carrying try a different name for it.
Also, make sure your syntax is correct. Your command should read:
'trap physical glowing '
Example:
'trap physical glowing tripwire sack'
in
You are carrying:
a dagger named 'Feathered Death'
the scroll of boroughs
the flaming scepter of Chaos
a worn scripture of the Bound Ones
a potion of teleportation
a jeweled broadsword
a Thunderlance
a model ship
a shield from the hide of a snow worm
a small black sack filled with heavy gem dust
plate vambraces decorated with red enamel
a nightmare blade
a jeweled dagger
(Humming) the Dagger of the Ferret
an envenomed dagger
some brilliant titanium lock picks
trap physical glowing orange door
It appears you are not carrying those ingredients. Now the ingredient is gone, even though it was never used.
Make sure you are using its proper name.
It is possible that you have two things in your inventory with similar names.
Try to use the unique name for the ingredients.
Also, make sure your syntax is correct. Your command should read:
'trap physical glowing '
Example:
'trap physical glowing tripwire north'
op door Just showing that there is, in fact, a door here that this should work on.

Subject: RE: Log of door-trapping weirdness
I switched the failure echo to explain what the "target" actually is failing on.
Also, I believe you need to trap a direction, not a door name for it to be successful.
