As a ghost it's possible to request from good-aligned mobs that would otherwise be aggressive if not for the ghost status. That seems counter-intuitive.

You may have already accounted for these, but just in case...
If a bard stops combat while fighting an aggressive, good-aligned mob then he should probably be able to request from it. His songs were so persuasive that the mob is no longer violent towards him, etc.
However, other means of stopping combat like choke, cranial or stun (i.e. those that result in the good-aligned mob being knocked out) should probably not enable request. If the mob's out cold then it can't decide whether to give you its shinies.

The only change was to make ghosts requesting from aggro mobs not work. Being knocked out already doesn't work.
