Shadowdrag bug
Description
This *really* shouldn't be possible....
<605/731hp 770m 823mv [12 PM]> You attempt to drag Ijerga into the shadows.
<605/731hp 770m 823mv [12 PM]>
Ijerga steps out of the shadows.
<605/731hp 770m 823mv [12 PM]> l
Along the Eastern Road
Constructed of great slabs of closely fitted stone, a wide and well-
traveled road runs to the east and west here. An empty field of freshly
turned earth lies to the north beyond a low stone fence, bordered to the
east and west by a thin screen of tall trees. Beyond this field,
cultivated pastures and small farms spread out to the limit of the
horizon in all directions. Stretching off to the south of the road as
far as the eye can see is a sparse forest of twisted and stunted trees.
[Exits: east west]
(WANTED) Xarius the arial is here.
(Bound) (Trussed) (Red Aura) (Black Aura) Ijerga the duergar is sleeping here.
<605/731hp 770m 823mv [12 PM]> shadowdrag Ijerga
The rain ceases.
You lose sensitivity to mystical auras.
Flickering one last time your mantle dissolves back into fire and light.
<615/731hp 770m 823mv [1 PM]> You attempt to drag Ijerga into the shadows.
<615/731hp 770m 823mv [1 PM]> Ijerga steps out of the shadows.

What that skill does != what you want it to do.
Sorry.

Subject: I'm kind of curious what useful purpose that skill is meant to have, then.
Would you mind enlightening the masses?
As I understand it, all it does is make someone that you have tied up hidden. If that can be negated so easily, why bother?
I alway assumed that was a bug, and the few times someone did that to me I just kind of sat there and took it.

Subject: Yeah, has been a pointless skill from the start.
Unless it was changed but even when you had them gagged and trussed, when you shadowdragged them they could just try to speak or cb help! and it would make them step out, regardless of them being able to actually talk. Add to that the fact that they could 'vis' and you have a pointless skill that could have been so cool.

If they are not able to do anything else while bound and trussed up like that, how are they able to make themselves visible to anyone around them.
They are tied up, bound, trussed to the point of no movement, and then drug into the dark shadows of the surrounding area, the only thing that should bring them out is combat or faerie fog like affects.

Yeah that always seemed like a cool situational skill, but if they can just 'vis'...
Daev, what did you mean when you said it doesn't do what he wants it to do? What does it do then? cause that's what I always thought

It does hide people; it doesn't stop them from becoming visible.
