There is an entrance into old Arkham.

The strong stench of decay emanates from a thick mound of fungus growing upon large barrels standing against the southern wall. Words still inscribed upon them are just barely legible. Part way up against the northern wall are the remnants of an old steel ladder. Its base is lying shattered upon the ground. Part of the soft northern shale wall has collapsed inward as well giving a step from which to reach the ladder. The ground shifts as it succumbs under the weight of all who trespass upon it. [Exits: south up] If you take this up it puts you in old Arkham.
