Chain wither?

Ok, I already posted this on the unofficial, but I'll post it here aswell because it bothers me not knowing and some clarification would be appreciated =) Geren yells 'Help someone is attacking me!' You narrow your eyes and glare in Geren's direction. Geren can no longer find the strength to wield a red dragon claw. You wither the flesh of Geren! Your withering wounds Geren. The gods protect Skrom. The gods protect a snow badger. With a supernatural flash, the power of your wither arcs to an armadillo! You wither the flesh of an armadillo! Your withering misses an armadillo. With a supernatural flash, the power of your wither arcs to Chaimosho! You wither the flesh of Chaimosho! Your withering hits Chaimosho. . So can it fire like that without the specific skill, because I don't have it (that I know of)? Other circumstances I'm unaware of that made it possible? Thanks.
