I THINK this is the spell in question.
It was not cured by healing sleep nor was it transferable through altruism. Not sure if this is a bug or if it is intended to be this way.

Subject: By design.
I talked it over with its creator, and while methods exist which can cure it, Healing Sleep and Altruism are not among them.
