Bioempathy affecting undead

Calue kneels down, placing a paw gently on the soil. Calue speaks to a mummy with the voice of the wind in the trees. A mummy is unaffected by Calue's call for empathy! A natural glow sweeps over a mummy. A sword spider has some small but disgusting cuts. The undead also took bioempathy damage afterwards, despite the fact that they are apparently immune to bioempathy in the first place.
