Ranger dodging against manta ray.
Description
i dont expect to outright slay him, but isnt this a bit excessive, especially on the defensive spinning. a major water form that gets parried or dodged or such more often than it does itself.neither of us were prepared so it's an even fight.

You're a water shifter. So, ok, you're supposed to be good at fighting in the water.
He's a mariner ranger, which means:

You still were easily winning. It seems a little ridiculous that you'd complain that you weren't winning enough against a ranger in his home terrain.
