Subject: 'help local echo'
This is an issue with the program you're using to connect to CF, not CF itself. If you're using telnet:
When connecting with a telnet client, it makes mudding easier if you can see what you type, before you enter it into the mud. This is called Local Echo. To activate the local echo in Telnet from a Windows machine, while still connected to Carrion Fields, do the following:
Press the CONTROL key and the ] key at the same time.
Then type SET LOCALECHO
Then press the ESCAPE key
On most versions of telnet, this should activate the local echo. If this didn't work for you, try looking up local echo in the help section of your client.
