We made a conscious decision not to change existing weapon stats other than cost when we did standardization. Basically, weights of existing weapons were known to a lot of folks, and we didn't want people to have to rediscover that much data all over again. Guidelines were established, however, so all weapons created since the standardization project should fall within them.
