Mass metabolic slowing, mass corporeal softening

These spells affected multiple mobs, including mobs I wasn't fighting, and did not start fights with them. For example, there was a room full of eyes from the land of dreams. My group was fighting one of them. That one I cast mass metabolic slowing on, while not assisting the fight. It not only slowed the one, but the all the eyes in the room, yet we still stayed only in combat with the one. Mass corporeal softening did the same.
