I tried to dive to a foe on the open sea, and I kept getting the echo,"you can't attack someone in a cabal" (that's not exactly the echo but you get the idea.)

I'd need a log of where you were, and where the victim was. The code that triggers the 'You can't fly to people in cabals' is very specific.
