I noticed that this yell...
"Ecthael yells wildly 'The dogs name is EvilGuy, by the way!'"
came as wildly with vigilance. not sure but isn't it a legacy yell. and if so should it be wildly?

I have no idea what you're trying to say.

The trib vigilance skill should not have made that yell a "wild" one. It should just be a normal yell.
Vigilance is supposed to help tribs distinguish between someone just yelling something and "yelling wildly" when they are attacked. But in this snippet, he's saying that the ordinary "fake" yell came across as a "genuine" yell.
I hope that makes sense.

If someone is attacked in pk they will "yell wildly", this is to prevent fake yells.
Original poster is saying that Ecthael was able to yell wildly somehow, is he supposed to be able to. (ie he could then go into town and yell wildly "Help! Scion is rogering me!"

Myabe you had color off and he was in the same room as you?
emote yells wildly 'The dogs name is EvilGuy, by the way!'
If not then he must have find some exploit that Zulghie cant reproduce, which is unlikely.

I know Vynmylak's tattoo makes you yell some things, though I don't recall that being one of them. I assume the code for any "forced yell" looks the same to vigilance.
