It is a player called creature. I was not wanted, why do they cause mob deaths? When the Vanquisher and inner guardians do not cause mob deaths, why do centurions?

Because you can pay to get by them, and have to consciously choose to fight them. If you fight them and die, you pay the price, just like any other mob you choose to fight.

You can be hit by an Imperial if they are hidden/invis and waiting at the cent, before having a chance to pay. It's happened to me a time or three in the past.

Which has nothing to do with you taking a mob death from a centurion.

So by your logic of having a choice to fight them, that's not necessarily true. I'm of the mindset of not caring either way, but maybe that will prompt you to reconsider. Your choice, bra.
*And I have no point if in fact my memory is merely fuzzy and centurions have never assisted imperial citizens. Feel free to ridicule me mercilessly, Z.

If they assist the imperial, you cannot flee, and cannot pay your way past them. So then you are faced not only with what amounts to a 3 on 1 forceduel, but the chance for an xp penalty as well. So there are indeed times when you can get killed by a Cent, without "choosing" to fight them.

If you or a group mate do an area attack or attack them in some way to draw them into the battle, then yes, they will be part of it. But they do not assist in and of themselves.

That being the case, shouldn't you be allowed to kill them while a ghost? As stands they're protected if you are a ghost.

Not trying to pester anyone, and I'm quite familiar with the way posts are hidden here until one of you unques it. Did it contain information you'd rather keep private or somesuch? Thanks.
