Description

Am stalking. First time I get "You begin stalking...". Some time goes by. I don't step out of the shadows a single time during the duration, nor stalk anyone else. I don't quit or void, and seemingly neither does my target. I try to continue stalking the same guy and get "You begin..." message again.

Stalking like any other affect, fades after time. Too much time, and you'll be back to zero and have to start over again. Sounds like exactly what happened to you.
